I’m a romance author, and my book links are at the end of this newsletter. My substack “United in Kindness” speaks to Being the Light that so many of us need right now. Whether it’s acknowledging, uplifting or simply listening to someone - it all counts, and helps people to feel seen and appreciated.

Today, I’m featuring Mary Manners. She’s is a multi award-winning author of sweet romance. She currently lives along the foothills of the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee with her husband Tim, rescue dog Axel, cats Colby and Rascal, six mischievous chickens, and thirteen fish. Mary writes stories that tease the senses while warming the heart and soul. While growing up in Chicago, she journeyed through a variety of jobs including paper girl, figure skating instructor, pizza chef, and nanny before settling into teaching and finally, full-time writing. Many of these experiences add a touch of humor to her stories. Mary loves long sunrise runs, lazy mountain sunsets, flavored coffee, and dark chocolate--lots and lots of chocolate.
